The last piece on which I was waiting was her name sign which took a few months to get because it was a custom order. After that, I was waiting to take pictures until I researched how to actually properly use my camera, but life with a baby doesn't allow much extra time, so I still haven't gotten around to that! I also feel like her shelves still need some work as I'm too indecisive to properly style shelves, but considering Clara is already SEVEN months, I figured I better take some pictures before she goes to College - lol.
We thought her nursery was complete in January, but in February I decided to do up her closet about a month before she was born. The closet in this beautiful nursery and this nursery were my inspiration. We already had the IKEA billy book cases from our old house, so all we had to do was temporarily remove the mouldings in Clara's closet, paint the closet pink, and then add the bookcases and re-attach the mouldings (this makes the shelves look more "built in"). A few weeks later I added IKEA's Oxberg doors and some crystal door cabinet hardware from Lowes. The doors are perfect for hiding cases of diapers and wipes.
